Selina joined Oxford Science Enterprises in November 2023. She supports the OSE team by identifying new opportunities in Life Sciences, creating new biotech businesses and supporting the existing portfolio.
After obtaining her medical degree at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin, she started her professional career at the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) Center for Regenerative Therapies with a doctoral thesis on the expansion and differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant physician at the Institute of Pathology of the Charité University Hospital before moving to Bioscience Valuation, a life science consultancy, where she performed commercial assessments and valuations of early- and late-stage assets and advised clients on their R&D strategy.
Prior to OSE, Selina completed her MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School and gained venture capital experience during an internship at the DeepTech investment firm IQ Capital.
