Sanne De Jongh

Sanne invests across all therapeutic areas and development stages, bringing more than a decade of experience in biotech venture capital, from venture creation to company scaling.
Before she joined Oxford Science Enterprises in February 2023, Sanne was an Investment Manager at Gilde Healthcare, looking after biotech investments in Europe, and previously held roles at Anterra Capital and M Ventures, the corporate VC fund of Merck KGaA.
At Gilde, she also launched a Fellowship to help scientists transition into VC and increase diversity in the field.
She holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Leiden University with a minor in Neurology, and MSc in Biochemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, graduating cum laude.
