Venetia Jennings
Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Deep Tech
Venetia is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Oxford Science Enterprises. She’s here on a mission to find and co-found a new Deep Tech business, focused on AI and next-generation computing. She also lends her expertise across the wider Deep Tech portfolio.
She joined OSE in 2025 with a decade of experience across technology entrepreneurship and consulting. Most recently, Venetia co-founded xcharta, a computer vision start-up focused on precision extraction of numerical data from images. As CEO and CTO, she was responsible for developing the technology as well as building the business, serving top-tier customers in investing and consulting.
Previously, Venetia was a Senior Manager at Bain & Company and an associate at Slaughter and May.
Venetia holds an MSc in Computing from Imperial College London, an MA in Classics from Oxford University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School.
