Sam has extensive experience building and investing in Deep Tech companies across AI, semiconductors, the future of compute, and space. Since joining OSE in 2019, he has played a central role in new company creation and venture growth, and now leads the Deep Tech investment team.

He oversees the team’s pipeline, supports the creation of new companies, and guides the growth of the existing portfolio.

Prior to OSE, he worked in management consulting, developing AI solutions for global corporates.

Sam holds a first-class master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, where his thesis on machine consciousness received academic distinction.
