Entrepreneur-in-Residence, HealthTech
Nico is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Oxford Science Enterprises. He’s here on a mission to find and co-found a new HealthTech business, focused on using AI to better understand and improve how people think and feel.
He joined OSE in 2026, and brings extensive experience across technology, product development and venture creation. Most recently, Nico led the development of new mental health ventures at GSK, spanning wearables, human and AI coaching, and emerging modalities including psychobiotics and brainwave-driven XR.
Earlier in his career, he co-founded and led two companies, one of which was acquired by Canon Inc. He also led mobile product development at Skype during a period of rapid growth, helping to establish it as one of the most widely downloaded applications of its time.
Nico has co-authored five pending or granted patents. He holds a degree in English from Vanderbilt University.
