Karandeep is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Oxford Science Enterprises. He’s here on a mission to find and co-found a new Deep Tech business, applying his expertise in energy, mobility and automotive. He also advises across the broader OSE portfolio.

He joined in 2025 with a 13-year track record in driving transformative growth at technology companies. He played a pivotal role at electric vehicle manufacturer Arrival, where he helped raise $110m from Hyundai Kia Motor Co., leading the company to an historic $13bn NASDAQ listing in 2021 – the largest IPO in UK tech startup history at the time.

Most recently, he was Chief Programmes Officer at Nexeon, where he scaled operations globally, secured a commercial contract with Panasonic, and helped raise $170m in Series D funding.

Karandeep holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University.
