Martin joined Oxford Science Enterprises as a founding Principal in 2015, bringing over 25 years’ experience investing in Deep Tech businesses. He is now an Advisor to the Deep Tech team, supporting the growth of its portfolio companies.
Martin acts as OSE’s nominated Director at Moa Technologies, Wild Bioscience and as an Observer at Snowfox Discovery.
Martin started in UK technology venture capital at Top Technology Ventures in 1997, before leaving to found a corporate finance boutique, Gatehouse Capital, working with Seed and Series A companies in the UK.
He served as an NED for King’s Arms Yard VCT from 2011 until 2022 and is a Director of the HDH Wills 1965 Charitable Trust.
Martin holds a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Ashridge Management College.
