Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) are a group of chronic blood cancers that arise in the bone marrow, where blood cells are made. Treatments are limited – we can control symptoms and improve quality of life but still struggle to modify the disease course and prevent progression.
Alethio Therapeutics’ vision is to advance precision therapies to help people with MPN live longer, more fulfilling lives. Based on the research of Professors Adam Mead and Beth Psaila at the University of Oxford, Alethio is advancing towards clinical development with a pipeline of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting the cells that drive MPN progression. The goal is to develop therapies that truly alter the course of disease.
