Siegfried joined Oxford Science Enterprises in March 2023. He focuses on identifying new Life Science opportunities and supports creating new biotech businesses. In addition, he is responsible for curating the current landscape of Life Science research at the University of Oxford.
Concurrently, Siegfried is pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Oxford, leveraging multi-omics and medicinal chemistry to investigate the altered metabolism of cancer and develop novel therapeutic mechanisms.
Siegfried holds an MBiochem from Christ Church, Oxford, where his research involved the development of novel β-lactam compounds to combat antimicrobial resistance.
