Colin joined Oxford Sciences Enterprises in November 2021, bringing over 20 years of operational, company building and investment expertise.
At OSE, Colin supports the Health Tech team to source and de-risk new opportunities and existing portfolio companies to establish themselves operationally.
Colin began his career in medical imaging before joining Voxar, a VC-backed medical imaging software spinout from Edinburgh University. Following its successful exit to Barco NV, he played a key role establishing a new medical visualisation software business unit. After its acquisition by Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation, Colin led the unit’s strategic innovation activities.
Prior to OSE, Colin was Director at BioCity Group, supporting the development of over 150 companies, and part of the senior team that led BioCity to a successful exit and the formation of Pioneer Group.
Colin holds a BSc in Diagnostic Imaging and a MSc in Information Management Studies from Robert Gordon University and Glasgow Caledonian University respectively, as well as an MBA from the Open University.
